As subscribers eagerly unwrapped the latest Living Torah DVD, they were struck by one of the clips scheduled to be shown next month.
Garnering special attention is the Timeless Moments segment in program 660, in which the Rebbe is seen in conversation with Rabbi Binyomin Gorodetski in a newly released video.
Rav Gorodetsky, a veteran Chossid and Shliach of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the Rebbe, is seen with the Rebbe at the conclusion of a Public Audience on 25 Nissan, 5745. In the rare film, scenes of a conversation which lasted more than 45 minutes, the Rebbe is converses with Rav Gorodetsky while sitting on the makeshift stage erected for the Public Audience.

this did help my hiskashrus. to see my Rebbe in a “conversation” setting with such interest in his shliach and chossid’s work is truly empowering. I cried. how I wish I could talk with the Rebbe like that now!! as a young shlucha who did not have the zchus of personally meeting the Rebbe, this is a very special and telling video that truly makes yechidus alive and personal. To me it’s amazing, and I get the chills to see how a general resorts back to his commander. That’s how I see this. An extremely successful and devoted soldier out in the field comes back home to report back, discuss issues etc. And we all know how much the Rebbe wanted action action action. What nachas the Rebbe must have from talking with such a chassidishe soldier full of action, poshut getting things done the way the Rebbe wants. when i watched the video late last night it sent shivers down my spine. i felt that this entire episode and the fact that it was on video was done so that decades later in the year 5777 it will inspire chassidim who are clinging on with emunah to the teachings and directives of the rebbe.
The utter submission of this elter Chosid to his Rebbe, his Melech, standing humbly for over 45 minutes in Yechidus!

There are unfortunately today, many who may need to see this to get the true understanding of bitul and self-nullification to a Rebbe. Just hearing about it hasn’t been enough. A picture is worth a thousand words. I’m sure the Rebbe was aware this was being videotaped ( though not audiotaped) and possibly felt it would useful at a future time. The King is willing to have the most precious stone in his crown crushed in order to even just possibly save his son!! Moshiach Mamosh Now!!!
That is NOT how a “YECHIDUS” looked At ALL. (Nor was the Rebbe’s talk with Reb Binomin Gorodetsky A”H a “YECHIDUS”). I am very doubtful if this clip should have been made public. Does it add to our HISKASHRUS to the Rebbe and our AWE of the Rebbe? Would anyone publish this before Gimmel Tamuz without the Rebbe’s permission?
