A group of Haredi Litvaks were filmed hitting Rabbi Mordechai Osher, Chabad Rabbi of a Shul in Jerusalem's Kiryat Yovel. Israel's Channel 2 TV reported they were trying to seize local Shuls who belong to non-Haredi groups. "They handcuffed me and hit me until I bled," Osher said.

What do you expect?
These people are brought up to hate anyone who does not agree with their philosophy. They have been educated to fight Chabad from a very young age. I learnt in their Mosdos. I know what hatred they are being fed on a daily basis. All in the name of "Kovod LaTorah"!!!!

The fact is very clear "the Rabbi was beaten by these thugs" It is not the burden of Chabad to prove his innocense,on the contrary they have a lot of explaining to do (if there is an explanation for hurting ann innocent Jew). I doubt very much the Chofetz Chaim or any other Litvishe Gedolim would approve of such Terrorism.And if they do let them say it loud and clear.

keep up ur great work. to all the ppl here that u saying not nice things u should all just know i no rav motti 4 a lot of yrs now. he is a very nice guy. and would not just blow up storys like ppl. r saying here. pls have a little rachmonis and b nice its the 3 weeks and the comments i read here r realy nasty. this rabbi is one of the nicest guys i know. a realy great guy. he doesnt deserve ppl to tlak like this. he is not the guy looking to fight ever. rav motti may the rebbe give u the koach to continue in all ur great work. Moshiach Now.

They are probably not sanctioned by any rov or community and are just looking for moisdos to take over so that they can somehow make money from them.

Generalizing
I don't think it's fair to blame all Litvaks for this. If ch"v a (so-called) Lubavitcher did the same thing and the headline in a litvishe place was "Lubavitcher...does whatever" we would call it a chillul Lubavitch, say they just hate chabad, etc,etc. Because of course this kind of person wouldn't represent all of us. So I think we should do the same to other Jews and not blame all Litvaks for "not teaching ahavas yisroel"...do you think all Lubavitchers have perfect ahavas yisroel?
