Chof Teves marks the Yartzheit of the Rambam who was well known as an expert physician, philosopher and leader of the Jewish nation.
Students of Chabad Girls Academy got a tour of the new Crown Heights Urgent Care facility in honor of this special day.
They visited the examination rooms, saw x rays in the x ray room, and spoke with PA Brittany Popko about eating smart and being active. Dr. Brittany took time to explain the purpose of the facility and answered the many questions that students had for her.
As a farewell gift, students were presented with a thoughtful health care package. It included band aids, hand sanitizer, body wash, shampoo and granola bars. On the way out the staff was kind enough to give each student a balloon and lollipop.
A big thank you to Yosef Hershkop of KāMIN Health for helping arrange and organize this educational trip.
