Dr. David Nesenoff, a popular global speaker, says his survival in a major car accident in Orlando, Florida, this week, is a miracle.
Along with his wife Nancy, they were stopped at a red light when a vehicle behind them barreled into the rear and then side of their car, crushing them into the car in front of them.
Nesenoff’s car was totaled. David crawled out the passenger side and he and his wife sustained some aches and pains but not a scratch otherwise.
“We’re both fine, Baruch HaShem,” he told COLlive.com. “Certainly, if the car had continued further into our vehicle, things could have been seriously worse…”
It was only discovered three days later, while extracting items from the crushed trunk, that deeply wedged into the exact spot of the hit was a shofar belonging to their son Adam.
And then when David Nesenoff reached even further into the wreckage at that impact spot, he pulled out a copy of Tehillim.
Although the car was hit at a high speed, the shofar didn’t have a scratch on it.
“I thought nothing could shake and stun me more than that accident,” Nesenoff said. “But pulling out that Shofar and Tehillim wedged into the exact spot of impact, put me in awe; I know those holy items stopped the car that was ramming into us and saved our lives, Baruch HaShem.”
My son was in a similar accident last week. A man plowed into him at full speed.. His quick reflexes by turning his wheel to the left saved him from hitting the car in front. He always takes his Tefillin and chitas with him. Hashem keeps his children safe.
We heard David speak in California. He is a amazing man.
Boruch Hashem for this neis; however it wasn’t the shofar or Tehillim that saved the couple, it was Hashem. The shofar and Tehillim were segulos, shluchim of Hashem, in whose merit they were saved.
The Kehot Pirkai Avot gets Trump Elected and now the Kehot Tehilim saves lives!!!!
Thank you Rebbe, Thank you Kehot!!! The rebbe’s publishing house!!! #HayTeves30years
We were told that the Rebbe said to keep a Chitas in the car. One time my engine caught fire and it burned up to and around the Chitas!. The Chitas was only a little singed. The front of the car was totally burned out!
Rebetzin Chaya Moushka, the wife of the seventh Rebbe of Lubavitch, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, used to keep a mezuzah in the glove compartment of her car.
Dave, did the airbags work?
I was lucky enough to hear him at a JLI Retreat!

The Rebbe said years ago that a car should have a chitas and a pushka in it.
Always great to read feel good stories. Definitely beats reading an urgent tehillim request for couple in critical condition. BH. Boruch hagomel…
That is Bh a great miracle. You should all be well.
I always have a Chitas in my car
I just put a tehillim and shofar in my trunk…
