A tragedy occurred on the first day of Sukkos, when the son of Poissy, France Shluchim was killed in a horrific accident.
7 year old Shmuel Sarfati, son of Shluchim Mendel and Rachel Sarfati, was struck and killed by a truck while walking home from Synagogue with his father.
Only moments before the tragedy, the father and son exited from the local synagogue (at the end of the holiday prayers), and were hit with a construction vehicle while they were walking in the street. The circumstances of the accident are still under investigation.
As of currently available information, the child’s funeral will be held today (Wednesday) in Israel, but this may change as many are involved in trying to help prevent local authorities from performing an autopsy.
