Chaim Bhatia, 20 year old artist and songwriter, presents a song he composed and performs along with Meir Richter and Yehuda Zeilbeger.
“Wake up” is a song inspired by the morning prayer Modeh Ani.
“It was composed to wake up every Jewish soul of our generation to spread G-d’s light of Torah, and Mitzvos, so we can flip our world’s darkness into light,” Bhatia says.

I’m not one who has, or ever intends to develop a taste for this venue of music but I was completely taken by the lyrics and the passion with which they are sung. I understand that the singer is trying to engage a broader audience and I respect him for his heart and devotion. You are incredibly talented for a 20 year old, both in thought, expression and voice. Some music videos the life of the video is in the editing, this one however the presenter the words and tune is the life of the video (not to say the editing wasn’t great).

Incredible. These lyrics are real, personal, from the heart. Exactly what I needed to hear right now. Too many artist are just trying to write songs they think people will like, and not focused on true music- expressing yourself and being real. Keep it up, the world needs music like this!
