‘Memories of Koppul Rosen’ was published in 1970 by Carmel College, and speaks clearly of how highly R Koppul valued the advice of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in all areas of Carmel’s development. page 28 ff.

My friends and I would not be where we are now if it was not for chabad at Carmel. Especially Ronny Greenberg- he influenced our lives so much we were already shomer shabbos, but he came to Carmel when he was newly married and he drove us with chassidus. Some of us are shluchim, some lubavitch with secular jobs that was the beauty of Carmel. So lovely to read this post. Jeremy Rosen was my headmaster for only 2 years but he was unforgettable.

What a remarkable account of the Rebbe’s influence on the lives of two great men, both of whom have, as it happens, in their own ways impacted mine. I’m an alumnus of Carmel, the school founded by his father, and proud to call Jeremy – my former headmaster – a friend. Jeremy, by the way, wrote an excellent and unique history of Carmel College (https://a.co/d/36MNqKQ), which was published last year and I reviewed here (https://www.amazon.com/review/R1BAIFA489IPRP/ref=pe_1098610_137716200_cm_rv_eml_rv0_rv).
