More than 600 people packed the Ventnor, NJ Beach for the 11th Annual Jewish Summer Fest at the Jersey Shore. The Event was organized by Chabad at the Shore. Participants enjoyed a Kosher Beach BBQ, crafts, rides and a carnival as well as a lively music by DJ Justin Horn of 2Life Talent.
The event welcomed eight cyclists who biked across the United States in less than six weeks to spread awareness for the Friendship Circle, an organization which gives friendship to Children with Special needs. Cyclists were met with loud cheers, big hugs, and huge buckets of Gatorade in celebration of their amazing journey.
“Our event offers children and their families an exciting evening while giving them a positive Jewish experience. People of all backgrounds experience Jewish culture through food, music and crafts” said Rabbi Avrohom Rapoport, the event coordinator.
May you continue to disperse the joy in our community!!
