Machane Heights biking camp has concluded an incredible and successful summer for their 4th year, with over 100 campers throughout the summer.
he summer was filled with davening, learning, sports, chassidishe farbrengens, Tzivos Hashem, late nights, mishnayos baal peh, fun trips and more! We welcome campers from all schools in Crown Heights, as well as Shluchim from around the world.
This summer was concluded with the annual banquet. It was a beautiful banquet with a tremendous turn out of parents who joined to celebrate their sons achievements and growth this summer.
At this year’s banquet, for the first time, the campers in Machane Heights sang niggunim in a beautiful choir led by counselor Mendel Labkowski. A camper accompanied the choir with his violin.
The campers put together a news report video to show their parents what goes on at a day in Machane Heights.
The campers and staff made a special thank you to director Rabbi Blasberg and presented him with a beautiful picture of him receiving a dollar from the Rebbe.
Rabbi Hecht, a camp parent and Shliach, thanked all the staff for giving his son and all the campers, a meaningful summer.
Rabbi Peretz Blasberg, Rabbi Dovid Blasberg, Rabbi Yosef Blasberg, Rabbi Binyomin Lezak, Rabbi Mendel Labkowski, Rabbi Zevi Haller, counselor Sadya Liberow, counselor Sender Hellinger, counselor Yisroel Lewin, counselor Yaki Kanevsky, and counselor Dovid Weiner were all thanked.
Campers were then presented with special awards.
Machane Heights, otherwise known as the biking camp, is a day camp in Crown Heights for boy ages 11-14, grades 5-8, a real alternative to overnight camp.
This summer was the 4th summer for Machane Heights with constant growth each year.
“We’ve had the most campers this summer from the past years and we look forward to growing bigger and better with the coming years,” says Rabbi Peretz Blasberg, camp director and general studies principal in Lubavitch Yeshiva.
We thank all those who put in tremendous effort to make this summer the success it was! Looking forward to next year!
A special thank you to rabbi Moshe Weiner and Mrs. Chanie Moskowitz from the JCC of greater Coney Island for their support and help with camp!

Dear rabbi blasberg, both senior and junior. No words can express how thankful I am for giving my son a warm meaningful summer. It used to be hard for a boy to stay in the city but not with your program. My son has grown in ruchnius and had a great time. Yes, giving unzere kids a great time and helping them grow in Yiras shamayim is the best shluchim you can do. Kol hakavod to you.
