Looking for a school for your high-schooler can be tricky. I know it was for me. I had two girls ready for high-school and no idea where to send them. I knew I wanted a school that had good role models, small, personal classes, and a good education.
When I heard about the Hebrew Academy it seemed like the perfect fit. My husband and I did and some research and found it to be better than we had hoped.
The teachers of the Hebrew Academy are open-minded and not only willing to teach, but wanting to teach all those who enter their classroom. The attitudes the teachers bring to the classroom make the atmosphere positive and welcoming which was perfect for my girls who were entering a new school year.
Not only is the atmosphere in the classroom impressive but the 11 acre campus is also spacious and welcoming. The beautiful campus includes a swimming pool that is open in the morning hours, a fully equipped computer room, and a wonderfully stocked library which cannot be ignored all of which are there to assist the Hebrew Academy’s students in their endeavor to learn more.
The school believes in project based learning which brings the curriculum to life. The students become motivated by their own work bringing them to go beyond what is necessary.
The AP courses, personal laptops, and one on one coaching provided are there to assist the girls in propelling themselves forward as well. The Hebrew Academy of Huntington Beach taught my girls not only to respect and trust their teachers and each other, but also to respect and trust themselves, which is more than I could have asked for.
We found that the Hebrew Academy gave our daughters an excellent education in Limudei Kodesh AND Secular studies so that all options are open to them in their future studies. If you are looking for a positive and safe environment for your high school daughter then the Hebrew Academy is the number one place to consider.

My daughters are graduates of the Hebrew Academy. I couldn’t be any happier with the amazing staff and curriculum. The school did an outstanding job preparing them for seminary. The secular studies are also superlative. I give my HIGHEST recommendation!
Rabbi Rappaport is an amazing and caring individual. My daughter was there last year and anytime we asked him for any help he would go out of his way to make sure she got what she needed.
Yes! The school has a dorm and a great Bnos Program.
