As long as we go around thinking that whatever takes place (and surely what took place before Gimmel Tammuz!) in the mosdos are according to the Rebbe’s wishes we will have to struggle with these discrepancies.
We must acknowledge once and for all that as good as things are they aren’t perfect, and there some issues that need to be corrected. We must arrange ourselves around the Rebbe’s instructions and not the other way around. This is true in the field of chinuch, shlichus, and the direction of anash.
Very odd that davka oholei tora and some other lubavitcha yesivas are closed for the summer can someone explain it ?
I am really thankful this was posted. It is so nice to see that Oholei Torah, Lubavitch Yashiva, and Bais Rivka are open in the summer and operate a camp for those months. They are doing exactly what the Rebbe said!
Apparently learning secular studies did not help you develop logical reasoning. You should have spent more time learning Torah instead.
The Rebbe’s opinion on many things are proclaimed and promoted. At times, the zealotry even drives us towards machlokes. But, for some strange reason the Rebbe’s public outcry against closing the Yeshivos in the summer doesn’t gain any traction.
Why?
Interesting how the Rebbe mentions taking a break from secular studies. How can you take a break from something if you do not have it to begin with????
From here we learn that each and every child should be taught secular studies!
The rebbe is Power!
