A surveillance video shared with COLlive captured a thief opening a gate near the front door of a home on Montgomery Street in Crown Heights and walking off with a UPS parcel.
The footage, captured by “Ring” surveillance system on June 29, 2016 at 04:39 AM, shows the thief quietly making off with the box, while holding a child’s scooter in his other hand.
i had packages stolen from the lobby of my apartment building. so unfair
Ok sorry to state the obvious but…… U left an expensive item on the front porch not locked up,in a city that is none for people stealing? It sucks! But maybe get a lock or something
If the residents had a lock on the gate, that would deter most would-be thieves from stealing things off their porch.

to apprehend the criminal- the type of police found in this area are more likely to arrest a Jew stopping a criminal than the criminal himself.
I saw a few African American males shoplift VERY OBVIOUSLY from Family Dollar. The employees mumbled something but didn’t do much. Made me so mad!!

the police wont do anything , they had the last guy that stole packages, had videos and pictures and the let him go, keep paying millions for houses here to get robbed…..how stupid
It’s good to have these videos, but the sad truth is, the police won’t make any kind of search for him and if he is caught (somehow), he won’t be detained for long.
After all it is New York.at least he was quiet not trying to disturb anybody

Hope they catch him. He was probably arrested, incarcerated and released 100 times.
