At last week’s wedding of Benny Friedman and Chanale Gopin, for the first time, rare photos of the Rebbe were shown during the event.
Playing as a slide show on various plasma flat screens throughout the Oholei Torah hall in Crown Heights, guests viewed a collection of beautiful photos of the Rebbe as he was Mesader Kedushin in his early years.
Throughout the night, guests could be seen stopping to enjoy the photos, while discussing the different ones that were on the screen.
Photos of the chuppah were also viewed by the delighted guests during the dinner, which added a beautiful and emotional feel to the atmosphere.
During the dancing, all the fun and excitement by the men’s side of the room were seen in full vibrant color on the women’s side, letting everyone enjoy the action.
The flat screens and slide show were a production of Innovision AV, a company that specializes in creating exciting and unique events.
Owned by the Rivkin family of Kfar Chabad (who own COL – Chabad Online Media Group), they are renowned for their expertise, having recently coordinated the projection for the banquet of the last International Kinus Hashluchim.
Innovision provides screens and projection for weddings and Bar Mitzvahs, adding excitement and innovation to the simcha.
They have recently teamed up with Oholei Torah Ballroom, installing flat screens throughout the room, as well as a control room on site, so they are equipped for any event.
A private live internet feed is available for family members and friends abroad who are unable to attend the Simcha.

it was such a beautiful wedding. the Kallah looked absolutely magnificent. the screens during dinner were so entertaining. It was so nice to watch men dancing.
I think the first pic- is the Rebbe marrying off R’ Moshe Rubin
nice wedding
u got it all wrong. in the begining before the dinner there were photos of the rebbe. at the dinner there were photos of the chuppa of the gopin friedman wedding for those who missed the chuppa. than diring dancing there was a video of the mens section. all of this took place on the same screens! hope u fogured it all out!
No, it only shows at that specific simcha!! Or so it appears from the article’s information.
I would love to have this for my son’s wedding
I was at the Friedman wedding, and it was so nice to see the photos of the Chupah during the dinner. We all enjoyed it. Such a nice touch.
The gorgeous tables are from a Bar Mitzvah, I think. But I wouldn’t want my kids’ wedding splashed around at another Simcha. The shots of the Rebbe are wonderful, though…why add other people to a slide show?
but not what i call a tipical chabad wedding.
