Kashrus Series Comes to London

The new Food for Life Kashrus Workshop launched by Junior Nshei Chabad in NY will be coming to London.

Neshei Chabad of London will be hosting the Kashrus Workshops at Beis Chana Women’s Centre in Northfield Road, Stamford Hill.

Using an audio-visual presentation, Rabbi Elie Schoemann Rabbinical coordinator of the London Beth Din Kashrus department will share “the inside story” – behind the scenes of a Kashrus organization. This Monday night 6 Adar Alef / 15 Feb doors open at 8:30pm.

With a hands-on workshop and live samples of leaves and herbs, Chief KLBD Mashgiach Rabbi Hillel Simon, will guide us on “Banishing bugs” a daily chore in the Kosher kitchen to ensure our food is free of insects and bugs. Monday 20 Adar Alef / 29 Feb. Doors open at 8:30pm.

Beis Chana, a centre for the Jewish woman, was established over 28 years ago, in memory of the Rebbe’s mother Rebbetzin Chana ע”ה Schneerson, to provide educational and social activities for Jewish women. Showing his affection for this project, the Rebbe sent a significant amount of personal funds to assist in opening this centre.

The centre, as well as the activities of Neshei Chabad in London is led by Mrs. Fradel Sudak; Mrs. Rachel Bernstien and Mrs. Rachel Davidoff.

The weekly Monday night meetings for Neshei have been continued in Beis Chana for close to three decades. Other weekly Shiurim include a Tanya Shiur; Taharas Hamishpacha review; Friday night Likutei Sichos group; Shabbos afternoon shiur; Tuesday lunchtime Halacha Shiur with Dayan L.Y. Raskin, and many more.
