A veteran Lubavitcher jeweler from Canada is launching a special line that will offer beautiful yet affordable fine jewelry for families across the world that holding weddings for their children.
Julie Gniwisch and Briendy Gansbourg, the mother and daughter co-founders of ice.com, a pioneer in the online jewelry business, they wanted to find a way to give back to the community.
Over their years in the jewelry industry, the Gniwisch family from Montreal have helped many Kallahs find perfect pieces for their important day.
“Time and time again, brides-to-be tell them how difficult it is to find affordable jewelry,” says Gniwisch, President of Delmar Jewelry since 1969 and a known philanthropist.
Gniwisch and Gansbourg decided to build KallahJewelry.com, a website that would offer newlyweds fine jewelry at accessible price points for the momentous day of their marriage.
“With all of the expenses that Kallahs and their families face today, we felt compelled to offer them an affordable alternative when it came to selecting jewelry for their wedding,” Gniwisch told COLlive.com.
Gansbourg adds, “we see Kallah Jewelry as a bridge between the old and the new. We bring the latest technologies to the age-old tradition of beautifying the Kallah. As a result, we simplify the process and make it that much easier for the bride to find her perfect pieces at excellent prices.”
KallahJewelry.com offers a wide selection of fine jewelry, including diamond, pearl and gemstone pieces, as well as brands such as Julianna B, Catherine Malandrino and V19.69 Italia.
For the grand opening, they are offering 30% off to all buyers in honor of Chof Beis Shvat.
This week, KallahJewelry.com presented a special gift to all Shluchos gathered in Brooklyn, NY, for the annual Kinus Hashluchos.

Gneiwisch generosity is so uplifting! They give a lot, they give often and they give in many different ways. The oft-used term giving “back” is not appropriate — they didn’t take anything from anyone — and therefore have nothing to give back. They are quite simply giving and may they serve as an inspiration to all us; because we all have what to give.
Hashem should give them ever increasing tools to do His good work!!
