A black man walked into 2 Jewish-owned stores on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights and threatened to “kill everyone” at 10:30 AM on Tuesday.
An officer of the NYPD’s 71 Precinct responded to the call and took a complaint.
“We are treating it as terroristic threats and notifying the anti-terrorism unit for investigation,” Detective Vincent Martinos told COLlive.com.
He added, “it appears to be an isolated incident with maybe somebody who has emotional issues. However, in today’s atmosphere, we are not taking any chances.”
The NYPD asked Crown Heights Jewish residents, home to Lubavitch Headquarters and a large Chabad community, to be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior of people they encounter.
Martinos did specify that “it is important to note that we have no direct threat to our community at this time.”
it doesn’t matter that the person who threatened is black- thats just unnecessary labeling!

It was so creepy. I was waiting for my package at S John’s post office and this crazy man was saying threatening things at me from a distance of 20 -30 feet, but it was so freaky. To ignore that there are violent black people is to put your self in harms way in the name of political correctness. In which case could be the most politically correct corpse in the cemetery.
If you do the crime or threaten to commit it – you are going to be identified. No hiding behind political correctness or other ploys to protect the criminal. You want to give your race a good name, act like a human being.
This is just too crazy!

1) since when is it racist to report the news? why cant we describe the suspect identification maybe we should not even report that he’s male, based on your logic its sexist.

It’s not relevant what race the guy is. Who the heck cares…..I honestly think this website is racist when it comes to the black community. A criminal is a criminal no matter the race, religion, etc.
