Thousands of guests from around the world participated in the wedding of Sarah Techiya Litman who lost her brother and father in an Arab terrorist attack.
The original wedding date, Nov. 17, had to be postponed after Litman’s father and 18-year-old brother, Yaakov and Netanel Litman, were murdered by terrorists just days before the wedding while en route to a pre-wedding celebration.
Litman and her husband Ariel Biegel of Israel decided to invite Jews everywhere to join them.
Thousands of guests arrived to celebrate with the couple, most of whom did not know the couple before, coming from as far as Australia and the United States, representing family and friends back home. Chabad centers sponsored tickets for representatives to attend.
To accommodate the crowds, the wedding was relocated to the Jerusalem International Convention Center.
Thousands tuned in on COLlive.com to watch a live broadcast of the wedding as well.
“Don’t let our enemies rejoice. We have fallen and we have risen,” wrote the couple. “With G-d’s help, our wedding will take place next Thursday, 26 November, 14 Kislev, at Binyanei Hauma in Jerusalem. The Jewish nation is invited to rise from the dust and celebrate with us.”
The guests included Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi David Lau, Jerusalem Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar, Rabbi Chaim Druckman, former Hebron chief rabbi Dov Lior, and the prime minister’s wife, Sarah Netanyahu, arrived to give her support. Popular Chassidic singer Avraham Fried made a surprise appearance and performed joyful wedding songs, The Jerusalem Post reported.

Mazal tov. You should only know of simchas for the rest of your lives.
No one is making a Lubavitch issue.
We are just happy to hear that our Chabad niggunim are a source of emotional inspiration and are being used to be Misamayach Chosson and Kallah and that Lubavitch niggunim are now being played at Jewish weddings from all walks of life. Mazel Tov!
wowwwwwwwwwww
Dont make this into a Lubavitch issue, believe it or not, there are Jews in this world who are not Chabad
tremendous ahavas yisroel, am yisroel chai, there’s no other nation like Israel
I think this story potentially is very powerful to educate and inspire the goyim to be better people, and therefore should be publicized more. It is very incredible in that it also shows an achdus spanning from the leader of the entire nation, his wife coming, and a chief of the country, and an international, American entertainer, coming to do a mitzvah, etc. Etc.
Let’s prevent attacks by uniting together and declaring that the State of Israel must do much more: Jewish labor, reciprocity and prevention of terror by the army, better Jewish education and living up to jewish standards -derech chaim- acting like a Jewish state, bkitzur.
FOR SENDING A REPRESENTATIVE OF US, and making us part of this amazing jewish simcha!

Glad you invited Am Yisrael! To get to the core of the problems the Jewish nation faces, it must work together…Am Yisrael is invited to join the Derech-Chaim Movement. http://www.derech-chaim.org/en
where is the outrage that an innocent man was killed and our government wont do what it takes to make it stop? if we learn to live poor why become rich? lets not learn to live poor! i saw another video where a father was saying that right after shiva he is going back to work because he wont be brought down. What if he didnt go back to work but instead camped out in front of BB house until he puts an end to the terror. Could it be that our goodness is hurting us? After the Yom Kippur… Read more »
