In honor of the Chag Hageulah of the Mitteler Rebbe whose very life was Chassidus, a Father and Son Chassidus program was held in the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva for the 7th and 8th grades.
Fathers came in the morning with their sons to learn a Maamar Chassidus and Daven Shachris together.
After Shachris they all joined for a lavish Farbrengen/breakfast.
At the Farbrengen Rabbi Simpson spoke of the uniqueness of a Chassidisher Farbrengen and the connection is creates with the Ba’al Hageulah. Hatomim Mendel Fellig lead the Tehillim, a Dvar Torah was recited by Hatomim Ashi Seper. Rabbi Cohen, one of the parents, inspired the crowd with a story and important lessons for the Talmidim.
It was immensely uplifting to see the smiles on the Talmidim’s faces having the opportunity to spend time with their fathers in their Yeshiva on this special day.
its so much fun to see familiar faces.
I feel lucky to have my children go there
A huge Yasher Koach to Rabbi Wilschansky for arranging this event
Kudos to Lubavicther Yeshiva!
May all Yeshivos learn from you
Wow, watching the video and pictures really lifted me.
You have no idea how much this bonding time will help the son forever.
Rabbi Simpson does it without any fanfare – he gets down to the essence of what Tomchei Tmimim is all about. Thank You!
looks so fun
What a beautiful program! Great way to get fathers and sons to interact and connect with each other.
