13th Avenue in Boro Park was filled by joyous chassidic dancing in a Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration organized by Chabad.
7,000 people participated in the event organized by Rabbi Aron Ginsberg, Shliach at Chabad of Boro Park, Brooklyn.
The busy 13th Avenue was closed off to its heavy traffic for the event. Chairs were set up and a large stage with huge LED screens were in the center, enabling all men, women and children to be involved in the program.
The crowd enjoyed entertainment by Yossi Cohen orchestra and singer Tzvika Silberberg.
A group of bochurim performed many fire stunts, and ventriloquist R J Lewis had the audience rolling with laughter from a skit about Hakhel.
The year of Hakhel and its meaning for us was explained via a video presentation produced by Danny Finkelman.
The event concluded with Simchas Beis Hashoeiva dancing in the streets.
The event was coordinated by Yehuda Zaltzman. A special thank you to the NYPD for making the event possible.
