The name of the holiday is Chamisha Asar B’Av. The Rebbe would NEVER say Tu B’Av (or Tu B’Shvat).
The bochur who the Rebbe showed such care for- was Rabbi Pinchus Cunin A”H (3rd yaartzeit just was 21 Taamuz)
Rabbi P. Cunin’s birthday was 19th of Av.
The story about the “pale bochur” was about my father Rabbi Pinchus Cunin OHV”.
