A week after Amazon stopped selling Confederate flags in the wake of a deadly shooting, Jewish organizations are calling on Amazon to ban books denying the Holocaust.
Sacramento Rabbi Mendy Cohen is leveling serious charges against Amazon for selling books denying the Holocaust.
“Blatant anti-Semitism,” he said. “To deny the Holocaust is another mask of blatant anti-Semitism.”
The books say the stories of gas chambers and ovens in World War II Nazi Germany are made up.
“My great-grandfather was burnt in a synagogue alive with 500 Jews that the Nazis burned,” he said.
The books carry titles like “Did 6 Million Really Die?” and “Synagogue of Satan.”
A social media petition is calling on the company to remove all Nazi propaganda from the site.
Compounding the dilemma for Amazon is its recent stance on the Confederate flag. The company joined Walmart, Sears and eBay by stopping sales of merchandise with the flag in the wake of a South Carolina shooting that left nine people dead.
Amazon has a list of offensive products it refuses to sell. But Amazon officials did not respond to CBS13 for the story.

Amazon makes decisions based on market economics, not your pet preferences. Pulling the Confederate Flag is not about the symbolism of the flag, but about the reaction to it. If there was an equally visceral reaction to some obscure Nazi propaganda by millions of customers, you can bet Amazon would pull those items as well.
This is not some giant conspiracy theory, hidden agenda, or double standard: this is Capitalism. The second this latest controversy washes over and people stop caring, Amazon will go right back to allowing the sale of Confederate Flags — as they should.
Only certain “minority” groups have a say in this matter…the rest have no voice. Sad but true.
what upsets me is they sell many items even thru amazon direct/prime that have swastikas, try searching for nazi knife, nazi costume, nazi helmet.. there are many items. i called them they dont do anything, they actually told me there is a demand for these items so they keep them! what a disgrace in the name of business they should be fined.
What amazes me is Reb Mendy gave over his point with great Lomdus….I was sure his next words to her were going to be…”Its a Stirah Minei Umibei” Chazak We love you Rabbi Cohen
It is ok to sell a flag from North Korea or China and the (former) Soviet Union but not a confederate flag?
The commies murdered 100 million people; Stalin himself murdered 50 million, yet the confederate flag can’t be sold? How many people has the confederate flag murdered? Zero. This evil man in South Carolina would have murdered those people whether the confederate flag flies or not.

one solid rabbil.old friend MTL
in Jewish golders green in england? imagine getting a permit for an anti muslim parade …such blatant double standards are poshut hard to believe with a rational mind…
the world is definitely out of whack at this time in our history. mashiach is probably the only solution realistically speaking, funny as that sounds.
The United States were founded on free speech. The Confederate flag should still be sold online and in stores. And people should be allowed to display it. Same with the hated Nazis. We are better than all of that hate. Let the light that Rabbi Mendy talks about shine by being good examples of how to live life without prejudice.
Cousin, Mendy. We’re proud of you. Hatzlacha Raba in your great work. Chazzak! Regards from your family in Toronto. We love you.
Yirmi Cohen
What about protocols? Or main kamf nothing is to be gained from a certified hoax but they still sell it.
Books are one thing, but nazi flags and other items with swastikas should definitly be removed.
Is the best love the Venice boy’s
We need more people like Rabbi Mendy Cohen who are strong and and stand up for our people!
Amazon is right not to censor any book. They still sell books about the Civil War, including those from the Confederate side.
But if they don’t want to sell anything with the Confederate Battle Flag on it, then they need to explain why they don’t apply the same standard to items with Nazi or communist symbols, such as the very popular Che T-shirts. How is Che Guevarra’s image less offensive than a confederate flag?
