On Purim day, a float with live music by popular musician Chony Milecki will be driving through the streets of Crown Heights.
The float is organized each year by activist Rabbi Moshe Rubashkin to bring the joy of the Purim holiday to young and old throughout the community.
The float will ride around throughout the neighborhood, and all who are out and about are welcome to join the festivities and sing and dance along.
Later in the day, a grand Purim community Purim feast will take place at Oholei Torah hall, also organized by Rubashkin.
Hosted by New York attorneys Maimon Kirschenbaum and his wife Ruth, and Aryeh Leib Joseph and his wife Alissa, the event is free of charge and all are invited to attend.
The event will feature live music by musician Chony Milecki and entertainment by singer Yoni Zigelbaum.
The meal will be family seating, and Mechitzas will be brought in for music and dancing.
Join the festivities on Thursday, March 5.

Perhaps one would consider Moshe Rubashkin a Philanthropist rather than an Activist. He does so much behind the scenes to help many diverse groups in the community.
