Young Chassidim gather—virtually—in honor of the Rebbe’s nesius.
The excitement is palpable. The upcoming rally promises to be one of the best productions yet.
Themed “I am the seventh,” the exciting and inspiring program will be on air for viewing by over 7,000 young Chassidim this Thursday.
Tzivos Hashem Headquarters has invested many resources into creating a powerful event that allows each school to have an uplifting and memorable Yud Shvat. “We could never have produced something on this scale—we simply don’t have the manpower!” says Rabbi Yaakov Garfinkel, Base Commander at Lubavitch Educational Center in Miami, Florida, to explain why he’s so grateful for this offering.
“Instead of each school expending so much energy to put together a small program, here Tzivos Hashem gives us something HUGE, that makes it easier for teachers and principals to focus on what they do best—education,” adds Rabbi Sholom Heidingsfeld, Base commander at Cheder Menachem of Los Angelos, California. Before the rally video is unveiled, teachers will prepare their students with a Basi Legani coloring book maamer, a new song created in honor of this occasion, and the Rebbe’s sichos about the featured posuk of the month.
Highlights of this year’s Yud Shvat production include:
The Beinoni Niggun, a favorite of the Frierdiker Rebbe whose Histalkus we are commemorating.
Reminder of a chayol’s Yud Shvat minhogim.
A salute to all of the children who earned medals and were promoted in rank. Boruch Hashem, 5180 medals and 998 new rank books and cards were sent from headquarters this month. The promotion film will give each chayol’s growth the recognition it deserves.
The powerful weapon of Hashem’s army: twelve pesukim. For this rally, schools chose generals to lead—soldiers who have shown true dedication to their mission.
The climax of the rally: Maamer Bosi L’gani, animated like never before, ensuring that every child stays focused on the Rebbe’s powerful words.
Raffle winners are announced! For every mission report a chayol brings back to school, they receive one raffle ticket for over fifty prizes. To top it off, one lucky child will win the mystery prize of the month.
An original song to the tune of Niggun Shamiel created specifically for rally.
The Hiskashrus essay contest, launched in honor of the Rebbe accepting the nesius, will announce its winning entry.
“We hope our rally acheives its purposee in empowering each soldier to fulfill their mission and bring Moshiach now!” ends Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, executive director of Tzivos Hashem.
