On Sunday, Feb. 1, a Torah is being welcomed at Chabad at UCSB in memory of Harav Hachosid, HaShliach, Rabbi Yosef Loschak obm.
Rabbi Loschak was known for his love and dedication to Hashem´s Torah, by spreading Yiddishkeit via Chabad of S. Barbara, AskMoses.com, chaplaincy and serving on the editorial board of JLI. His love for Torah was well known, and is apparent in his home which is packed wall to wall with seforim that were always opened and learned from. His guidance in Torah and Chassidic thought was sought after by many.
In 2003, Rabbi Loschak welcomed his son, Rabbi Mendel Loschak along with his wife Rochel, to be a part of the Shlichus in S. Barbara. With the assistance of Mr. George Rohr and Chabad on Campus, they established a Chabad House at UCSB. Rabbi Yosef Loschak lent a Torah to the UCSB Chabad house, looking forward to the day that they would have a Torah of their own
Today, that will become a reality!

Please join us in honoring Rabbi Loschak by contributing and being a part of this Torah. Surely Hashem will grant you and your family with blessings materially and spiritually.

May Hashem unite us all together very soon with the coming of Moshiach!
Rabbi Loshak and Devora changed Austin Texas and then S Barbara. my mashpia for decades. I can’t thank him enough for his words of wisdom, sence of humor, honesty, knowledge and constant encouragement.. a loss for all of us. May Devora and the kids be consoled and may we see him immeidiately mamash with the geula shaliema.
A beautiful tribute for an amazing Shliach.
