To bring in the holiday of Chanukah appropriately and joyously, United Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn celebrated with a carnival for all the children of the yeshiva.
There were booths for all ages and arts and crafts for the talented and hungry. These art projects not only looked like beautiful menorahs but tasted great too.
There were booths that tested the various skills of the talmidim. There was the pin the shamesh on the menorah, latke toss, slide the penny, find the dreidel under the cup, Chanukah walking maze using only a mirror to see your way, and plenty more.
Coupons were won and prizes bought. Everybody was a winner and went home with some prize and a tasty doughnut. Thanks to the PTA for all their help and care and thanks to Rabbi Avtzon’s class for running the carnival so well.
Already kids were overheard asking if we can do this again next year, it was so much fun.
Thank you everyone at ULY – OP for everything you do for our son. Looks like TH boys are having so much fun lkvod Chanukah.
