Over 400 people attended the annual 19 Kislev farbrengen in Chicago which took place Thursday evening with the participation of Rabbonim, Shluchim, and community members.
The guest speaker, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Jacobson, mesmerized the crowd and spoke about the many aspects of Yud Tes Kislev along with Chassidic stories and insights, and practical implications for Chassidim today.
Participants were inspired by the singing of Rabbi Eli Klein and his choir, including Rabbi Levi Stern, Rabbi Mendel Moskowitz, and R. Yoel Zimmerman, who sang Chabad niggunim throughout the evening.
Shliach Rabbi Baruch Hertz spoke, as well as the Head Shliach Rabbi Meir Moskowitz, who encouraged the crowd to take part in Chanukah mivtzoim.
During the evening, the Chalukas Hashas for the coming year was organized by Rabbi Yoel Atkins.
After the official part of the evening ended, many remained for a farbrengen with Rabbi Jacobson which lasted until 6:00 am.
