A jogger who wouldn’t stop to hear the Shofar but filmed a persistent bochur who performed the Mitzvah for him anyways, made a stop Monday at 770 Eastern Parkway – this time to do a Mitzvah.
While on Mivtzoim on Rosh Hashana, Bochur Shmuli Cunin asked Joshua Wolff to stop to hear the Shofar, but Wolff insisted he must continue jogging.
Undeterred, Cunin ran alongside him for blocks while blowing the Shofar. Unbeknownst to Cunin, Wolff was taping the interaction, and the video went viral on social media.
On Monday, Wolff met up with Shmuli’s father, California Shliach Rabbi Mendy Cunin for another Mitzvah.
Wolff visited 770 Eastern Parkway, where he put on Tefillin for the first time.

I like your comment!
If his family is from Poland originally, chances are that he is a descendant of the Bach, as all the wolf’s from Poland are 1 large family and all descendants of the Bach.
A proud relative!

Cunins are made from something else 🙂 🙂
I loved the original storey – that was a pure example of l’chadchilah arib’e! Boy did that give nachas to Hashem and the Rebbe M’HM.
Shmuel Cunin – it won’t be long before he is a full fledged observant Jew. I’m bold over!
