The annual Gala Banquet of the International Kinus Hashluchim will take place tonight in Brooklyn, NY. The event brings more than 5,400 Shluchim and their supporters together for the culmination of the three day convention.
The Banquet will take place in a 110,000 square-foot warehouse in the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal, located along the Bay Ridge Channel in Sunset Park, which has been transformed into a magnificent banquet hall for the occasion by event producers David Scharf and Ronen Peled.
This year’s banquet attendance reached a record breaking high, with over 5,400 people in attendance, organizers from Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch reported.
Mr. Yuli Edelstein, the Speaker of the Knesset and a refusenik in the former Soviet Union, will be the guest speaker at the Banquet.
Rabbi Nissan Dovid Dubov, shliach and director of Chabad of South London, will deliver the keynote address.
