The Crown Heights Grand Challah Bake, to be held on Wednesday, Chof-vov Cheshvan, November 19 in the Oholei Torah Ballroom is sure to draw a large crowd. To accommodate the maximum amount of participants, organizers chose the largest venues possible, and are also requiring pre-registration for the event.
In addition to floury fun, and a challah braiding demonstration, the event is highlighted with the presence of Mrs. Esther Vilenkin, renowned shlucha and educator who will speak on the topic of “Rising Above- Bringing Blessings Through Bread”, about the deeper meaning of Hafrashas Challah. Her presentation is sure to give insight and inspiration to a mitzva that is known to bring powerful blessing and holds many segulos.
To be a part of this first-time-ever event, participants are asked to register at grandchallahbake.com. Seats are selling fast. There will be no payment received at the door and seating is limited.
The Grand Challah Bake is being made possible through the generosity of Beis Shmuel, Mei Chaya Mushka, COLlive, N’Shei Chabad and an anonymous donor who is donating in the zchus for those who are waiting to be blessed with children. The evening is dedicated l’ilui nishmas Miriam bas Moshe Yackov Hakohen.
