Learning online for those who are busy off-line…
A new virtual Beis Medrash will be launching next week with the goal of providing quality and relevant study for Jewish women of all ages and levels.
Yeshivas Chochmas Noshim, hosted at EmpowerJewishWomen.com, will be offering online classes to help women expand their knowledge base and deepen their connection with Torah.
“The woman is the foundation of the home,” says Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm, Dean of OnlineSmicha.com who will be teaching for the Yeshiva. “She encourages the husband and children and she herself is what infuses wisdom and the spirit of Torah in the house.”
The new study center is a project of Nshei Chabad of Minnesota in cooperation with Community News Service COLlive.com and BarMitzvahLessons.com.
Classes will be presented in the timetable of 6-week courses which will include Chumash with commentaries, topics in halacha especially applicable for women, kosher Feng Shui and more.
Among the instructors are Rabbi Wilhelm, Rabbi Moshe Feller – Head Shliach to Upper Midwest USA; Mrs. Chana Wilhelm – veteran Chumash teacher for over two decades, Rabbi Asher Zeilingold – Shliach and Rav of Adath Israel in St. Paul, MN and Mrs. Raizel Wolvovsky – veteran educator and mentor.
The first course begins Monday, November 10, 2014 – 17th Cheshvan 5775. To learn more or sign up, visit EmpowerJewishWomen.com.

It seems like the dates are off a bit. According to the actual website the starting date is “Beginning Monday, November 24, 2014 – 2nd Kislev
Concluding Tuesday December 31 – 9 Teves”. Hatzlacha rabba I hope hundreds of women will grow from this. Now the men better start learning, otherwise their wives will run circles around them in halacha 🙂
Like Rabbi Feller! A most humble emesdik chossid! Very, very special!!
I agree with all the above, hatzlocho rabbo!
So nice and what a great idea!
The best the best the best!!!
A true dedicated Chossid of the Rebbe.
The Rebbe said that women are equally obligated in learning as men.
A class with Chana Wilhelm is a not-to-be-missed opportunity. Anyone interested in learning or growth should tune in.
A grateful former student
Great idea
Beautiful, this is very exciting. I think there could be use of something like this for men. There are countless men who could benefit from something like this as well.
