Reducing the Rabbi’s Sadness

A rabbi walks into a laboratory…

That’s the beginning of the humorous video created to promote the new 6 week course from the Jewish Learning Institute titled “How Happiness Thinks” to be presented at Lubavitch Chabad of Skokie, Illinois.

Featuring learning, discussion, multi-media and discovery, each class will be edifying and thought-provoking, as well as entertaining, fun, and will help you feel more happy more often, instructors say.

To spark interest for the course in Chicago area Jewish community, Shliach Rabbi Yochanan Posner partnered with entertainer and stand-up comedian Brett Walkow to create a “ridiculous short on how to be happy.”

In it, Walkow is a mad laboratory scientist who is repeatedly (and unsuccessfully) to reduce the sadness of the rabbi.
