On Sunday afternoon, Chabad of Kensington, directed by Shluchim Rabbi Moshe Chaim and Rebbetzin Doba Levin, hosted its annual Sukkos family event.
As the over 150 parents and children arrived, they were given the opportunity to make a Brocha of “Leisheiv BaSukkah” and to shake Lulav and Esrog.
The exciting program included an interactive Game Show run by Rabbi Yisroel Langsam as well as exciting hands-on activities, such as “build-a-bear” workshop and creating edible Sukkahs. They also enjoyed an outdoor moonbounce.
“There was an amazing atmosphere in the room,” said Mushkie Langsam, who runs Hebrew School at Chabad of Kensington, “where every single one present in the large room was actively involved in the festivities.”
“I really had a great, great time,” said Becky Halfon who has attended Camp Gan Israel of Kensington for the past 3 years. “It was the first time that I was at such an exciting Sukkos event.”
