But the chickens stink so badly…with all those Israeli bochurim shaking boxes begging for money…the atmosphere is not what I’d call “holy.” It’s more like a smelly carnival. Not that my opinion changes the importance of the minhag, but isn’t there a way to clean the whole scenario up?
