The Chicago-based Rogers Park band releases their debut music video “Sukkah’s Falling” celebrating the holiday of Sukkot in a fun and fresh way. Sukkahs are falling, Lulavs are flying, add the sweet vocal harmonies and you are in for an all-around visual treat for this fun Jewish holiday that comes immediately following Yom Kippur.
Rogers Park, the duo of Mordy Kurtz and Yosef Peysin, (Contestants on Jewish Star) have been playing together since 2011 and has recently been named the Jewish art organization Continuum Theatre’s “Best Chicagoland Jewish Band 2014”.
The band put out this video as part of their work with Chabad On Campus to create a buzz for the holiday amongst Jewish college students all across America, and to the Jewish community at large.
This video features Chassidic comedian Mendy Pellin of Jewbellish.
