"Vinegar" means wine that went bad
September 23, 2014 12:23 am

“Vinegar” means wine that went bad. We don’t eat it on RH because it’s a siman klala – something good became bad. I think it likely that it doesn’t apply to apple vinegar.

And “egozim”, which we don’t eat, means walnuts. Almonds are OK.

If you watch the video or read the recipe – it says nuts are optional and there is a substitute for the vinegar – lemon juice.
