The Jewish Children’s Museum is gearing up for its third annual event, preparing for thousands of people from the Crown Heights Community and the tri-state area who will be attending Sunday’s Kosher Day event.
“With this year’s new “Holiday Pavilion,” children will learn about the art of Wine Making, enjoy a Tashlich game, braid a Challah, dip apples in honey, create a Shana Tova card, and many other activities, all teaching about the Yomim Tovim in a fun and interactive way,” Shlomo G, the event manager told COLlive.
Along with the Holiday Pavilion will be food tasting from over 20 major Kosher companies, a petting zoo, Uncle Moishy shows and Puppet shows.
Uncle Moishy will begin performing inside the Museum at 11:30am and his last show will be at 1:50pm. The Small Wonder Puppet Theatre will have continuous shows beginning at 2:45pm and continuing until the end of the event. The show ticket times will be given out on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Please note street closures from 7:00 am on Sunday morning September 14th: 2 blocks on Kingston Avenue will be blocked off, from President Street up until Eastern Parkway. The service lane on Eastern Parkway between Kingston Ave. to Albany Ave. will be closed off as well.
