Rosenfeld Sem in Tzfat has a very nice tradition they do for the girls to not become so homesick over the yomim tovim. The first R”H night, the entire sem (years of 70 girls included) join the Rosenfeld family for the seudah. At some point between courses, each girl has the opportunity to stand up, introduce herself (there are other guest) and describe a minhag or even funny idea they do at home on R”H.
