Over the summer the old Crown Cosmetics on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights had undergone an extensive renovation and is scheduled to re-open before Rosh Hashana under a new name.
The newly redesigned store, to be called Teva Drugs, boasts new spacious aisles and will be carrying cosmetics, beauty products, vitamins, and over the counter medications. And very soon, Teva Drugs will be opening its state of the art prescription department as well.
“It takes a lot of planning and hard work to create a convenient and pleasant shopping experience,” Leah Dashevsky, the store manager told COLlive.com.
“We are doing our best to be open for the Tishrei shopping season to accommodate Crown Heights residents and guests,” she said.
“The new store will be carrying many brands which Crown Cosmetics’ customers were very familiar with, as well as new brands that offer a unique combination of quality and value,” says Ziva Endzweig, who worked at the original Crown Cosmetics for 26 years and will now be the Cosmetic Consultant for Teva Drugs.
The re-designed store is scheduled to open its doors shortly after Labor Day. Many Crown Heights residents and guests are very much looking forward to it.
