All these politicians, community “activist and leaders” are all worthless.

You will get further with calling 311 with whatever issue you have, then with getting any assistance from any above mentioned clowns.

I live in an apartment building in crown heights for thirty years b”h all I want is to live peacefully with my neighbors I want to be able to walk without fear in the streets which I have been living for 55 years we are a peaceful people and we don’t want anything from anyone just peace

These “knockout” games are perpetrated not by adults, but by children. Meaning, the criminality issue is a symptom, but the real core of the issue is an educational one! Therefore, the real treatment of it is a change in the approach towards education in the schools these children attend. The Rebbe spoke so many times about the necessity for the institution of a moment of silence in the beginning of the school day, first and foremost to prevent things like these. The original article announcing this gathering was not posted on this site until this afternoon. The time & place for this event was surely arranged before today, so wjhy weren’t we told ?. Although the time was certainly not optimum for working people, I am sure many more people would have attended if only they would have had some advance notice. Perhaps someone at the CHJCC could be in charge of serious publicity to keep our community informed in the future ( only for simchas .)
