By popular demand, Kids Magazine is back in full force with a Tishrei 5775 edition. The feature includes colorful holiday guides and showcases the game “Temple Run.”
The Yom Kippur spin on this well-known game includes step-by-step activities that allow readers to prepare for the upcoming holiday. Symbols representing atoning for one’s wrong-doings encourage young readers to get involved. After mastering the “no-no”s of Yom Kippur, the readers “head over to synagogue for prayers” and leave the holiday with a stronger Jewish identity.
As expected, the Pesach 5774 edition of Kids Magazine reached thousands of children worldwide and provided them with inspiring and educational material. Within a limited period of time, 100,000 copies of the Pesach edition were sent out. Hundreds of shluchim boasted of the pride that exuded throughout their communities because of Kids Magazine. Due to the overwhelming success of the last edition, a creative team came together to create fun yet beneficial Tishrei-themed reading and games.
Twelve-year-old Charlie M., a community member from South Manchester, United Kingdom, expressed his excitement over the magazine. “I really liked it,” said Charlie who had received his copy of the magazine from shliach Rabbi Dovid Jaffe. “It was compelling and it spoke to me in my own language. It was cool.… I can’t wait for the next one!”
Kids Magazine is a joint project of Merkos 302’s CKids and Tzivos Hashem. Thanks to a hard-working team, the Tishrei edition of the magazine is available and will continue to reach thousands of Jewish children around the world.
