For many years, the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education has organized siyumim on the radio in New York City. For the tenth year, Chabad.org is delighted to partner with NCFJE to offer a live simultaneous video-cast of the daily siyum.
Watch the Siyum at 8pm.
Go to Chabad.org for text and archives of this years siyumim.
the HaYom Yom mentions that it is not our custom to eat meat or drink wine during the 9 days after the daily syium, which most definitely is our custom. If you don’t want to learn online arrange a syium at shul, which certainly is the best way to have a syium- in other words, it’s better to meet, but sorry, no meat.
can col post a rav”s view on siyum and eating meat?
Halachically yes, but not sure if it’s not in person.
It wasn’t the Rebbe’s custom though, but if it’s needed for health, ask a Rov.
Does listening to this siyum qualify me to eat meat?
