Central Birchas Hachama at 770
Thousands have gathered Wednesday morning outside Lubavitch World Headquarters 770 in Brooklyn, NY, to take part in the rare Mitzvah of Birchas Hachama, recited once in 28 years. Men, women and children stood on Eastern Parkway, as Rabbi Shmuel Butman led the ceremony. Photos

were not all going to be 28 unless we are all 1 years old this year!
Moshiach Now!
Mind Your Own Business – who cares what you read from???
First of all, Rav Butman said “We shall say the Begining and then we will wait for the sun to appear”
The moment we all finished ‘Haleluka,”, the cloud parted and the sun was revealed. Ask all who were there!
After that, Rav Butman said “Now we will say Yechi”
The moment he said that The sun shone so Brilliantly—no kidding it was like spotlight on the crowd and the Rebbes Bimmah. As if the Rebbe was accepting it. Everybody was gasping in awe. So……………….
Interesting and Amazing.
That just like Yechi dispelled the physical clouds. So too should it dispel the clouds of golus. With the higalus of the Rebbe, Now!!!
number 11 that was beautiful. we have had enough of golus,we dont need hashem to give us pain and sufering to remind us that we are in golus. its so sad that it has become normal for us to go to 770 and be find and used to the fact that the rebbe is not physically there or npt seen as some pple believe. this goes especialy for some1 like me who was a litle kid when gimel tamuz hapened and cant even remember when the rebbe was in 770,i am trying to imagine how it must feel for pple… Read more »
very powerful. the yearning for the good old days and the hope for the good new days – a powerful mix.
crowds of jews getting together for holy things, always gets me.
Its very simple. It does not matter what your personal feelings or views on… well you know… the bottom line is your a jew – and we believe that Moshicah is coming – Let me ask you – If he arrived at that moment – Wouldnt the Rebbe be back with his Chassidim – and might have a few words to say after so long? – So at least thats why seeing the Shtender with a mic makes sense to me? Now how bout you? – And Rebbe? Where are you? Why is Moshiach still not here… !?! Its getting… Read more »

Did nachman shapiro use a blue anathurized blue kovets because it was cheeper or because he is what he is
i didnt hear him say yechi, and to #4 the sun was out. you dont need it to be very strong, you just need to be able to see it
how could u make a brocha w/o sun????????????????/
what is the rebbe’s shtender doing there with a microphone? It’s really odd.
No mention of the fact that the sky was overcast until Rabbi butman said yechi bifnei kol am ve’eida.
It was very nice to see the entire CH come to together but it was very disorganized, as everyone was scattered across the streets down Albany to Brooklyn ave, instead of having everyone together. why couldn’t they close the street? they didn’t even let anyone go on Kingston ave? how does our community members allow the NYPD to trash us like this. they treat us like we are prisoners!!
