—
A Chabad child is in critical condition after falling from the window of his apartment building in Crown Heights on Wednesday.
The 21-month-old boy fell from the window of the sixth floor apartment in the Crown Condos building on Crown Street and Albany Avenue.
He landed on a balcony on the third floor, COLlive was told. Firefighters gained access to the balcony of the apartment since the residents of the apartment were not at home at the time.
Hatzolah transported him in critical condition to Kings County Hospital Center in East Flatbush.
Please say Tehillim for Chaim Yisroel Levi Yitzchok halevi ben Sarah Rivkah.

speaking of learning a lesson is not critical. if you have windows and young children make sure they are barred to the extent a baby can’t get thru. if you have a balcony or porch, make sure the openings are covered to make it impossible for a toddler to squeeze thru.
if you have a toddler (or guests with one) and you don’t take this precaution, …
Can someone put up the Facebook link because the ones here, you can’t click on !
Thanks
BS”D hope no one minds but had an urge to look in Igros, letter re ‘ your son, ….and that you will have much Nachas’ from him…

B”H my child wasn’t hurt. My heart goes out to the parents but like them, we didn’t have window guards on all windows then. PLEASE – they are relatively inexpensive, so install them. And don’t forget chicken wire to cover the balcony bars, a small child can easily squeeze through. May the baby have an immediate refuah.
Prayers going out for the complete refuah shelema of this baby and may we hear of no more sorrow. What a terrible tragedy – who can know hashems ways.
how is he?
I guess we should continue to say tehillim instead of spreading rumours like other sites writes!!!!! He just went into sugery & his condition is still CRITICAL!!!!!
Balcony not window. Hashem Yerachem, i never liked Balconies, refuah sheleima to the young child, and yes babies are small and can fit thru these balcony openings something should be done to prevent this kind of tragedy on all the balconies

The gates on the Windows would not have mattered if he feel off the balcony
Msu he have a refuah shelamah
O H-SHEM , Have mercy on this young child !!!
All the windows are the same in that building.
Just gotta put bars up and higher protections on the balconies.
Refuah shelemah!!
we are davening for you!!!!
Can you post pictures of the window he fell out of so that others can see what kind of a danger they pose. And others with similar windows will properly cover them with bars and prevent another tragedy like this?
