In honor of yud alef Nissan, 9 Mitzva Tanks paraded through the streets of the Greater Toronto area (GTA), bringing the awareness of Pesach to thousands of Jews.
The parade left 770 Chabad Gate and travelled through many busy streets in Toronto including Yonge St., the longest street in the world.
Honoring the Rebbe’s 112th birthday, the parade made its way through the neighborhoods where many Jews were attracted and impressed by the beautiful scene.
The tanks loaded with bochurim continued on to their respective destinations and distributed thousands of Matzos, Neshek packages, and of course Pesach guides in several languages.
Hundreds had the opportunity to don Tefillin, give Tzedaka and ignite the Jewish spark within them.
This all was made possible, thanks to the support of the Toronto Anash and the dedicated bochurim who worked tirelessly preparing and manning the tanks making it a success.
