Message from the Oholei Torah PTA
The Oholei Torah PTA thanks the Crown Heights Lubavitch community for their outstanding and dedicated support for the Achdus Basket Purim Project.
This project began as an effort to both ease the difficulties that many women encountered while preparing for Purim while simultaneously providing funding activities for the Oholei Torah children.
Many women and men have praised this project as a “lifesaver” that has erased the hardships of this wonderful day. We the Oholei Torah PTA thank you for your support, and we are humbled by your extreme and continuous support.
thank you pta for making my purim so much easier
and all the other volunteers
to Frayda Brown – great job on the ‘Majestic Bounty” – the largest gift basket – as always!
Thank you for making our Purim so much easier!
And a thank you to your families!
Much success
this has totally inspired me to make the best sholach manos in ch filled with spirituality involved contect because what matters most is the Ruchniut!!! it is amazing that they are adding other spiritual things to these mitzvos that are usually just about the junk, food or theme BH we are rising in this dark Golus and will bring the Geula immediately.
This monumental effort and tremendous project truly merits news coverage. This is nothing short of a human miracle. I am not affiliated with Oholei Torah PTA, but the breadth and depth of this undertaking is mind staggering. Yashar Koach!
Thank you to all the hard working people behind the scenes- including- Tzippy Dalfin, Chanie Hartman, Penina Lipszyc, Aida Junik and all the rest….( and their families). It’s a very big undertaking with lots of hard work. We the community, only see the final picture- when we received our basket this past Thursday. But trust me when I say it’s so much work involved ( I only volunteered 10 hours to pack the baskets , along with other volunteers….) Thank you again to the amazing PTA heads who work tirelessly nights on end to get the job done- in time… Read more »
For those whose dietary restrictions prevent them from enjoying the Achdus baskets, there could be alternative option available. Postcards could be printed up with the lashon; “In lieu of shaloch manos Rabbi/Mr. and Mrs.______have made a donation in your honor.” They cost less to print up then even the smallest shaloch manos. In general, it is a good idea, throughout the year, to have these postcards available for those who would like to make a donation in order to celebrate a simcha or to mark a yahrtzeit. In this way, additional monies are being generated. It’s worth considering. B’Hatzlacha! Mrs.… Read more »
