Rabbi Kaye, when I read your letter, your appreciation made me shed another….
When I read post 41, I felt true awe and pride at being part of a wonderful people!

February 16, 2014 2:54 am

Keep it going

Tragedy made me donate today
February 16, 2014 12:47 am

My husband mentioned that a young yeshiva bachur had passed in Toronto. I went onto COLLIVE (which I rarely do) just to read about it….in doing so I came across this article and donated to the Kaye chassunah fund.
It’s so tragic that that young neshama was snuffed out so young. But since that sad episode led me to this post – I would like my donation to be in honor of the late yeshiva bachur.
Besuros tovos!

Mazal Tov Rabbi Kaye and Family
February 16, 2014 12:23 am

Mazal Tov! It is amazing to see so many people coming together. Rabbi Kaye was always so nice to me when I was a Bochur on Shlichus in Sydney, inviting me into his home for shabbos meals, always greeting the bochurim with a smile etc., so it was a pleasure to give a wedding gift via the link.

I took your idea, and sent in a donation too, Thanks!

We just hit $15000
February 15, 2014 11:46 pm

Let’s keep up the momentum. There is the actual Chasunah costs but there are also so many associated costs that we dare not stop.
I just hung up the phone with Rabbi Kaye who was crying from joy and the love he is feeling from all of you, the comments and the donations alike.
Trust me, a few extra dollars won’t hurt. Before this campaign took off he didn’t even know if he and his wife would be able to be at the wedding.
That should give us an idea how much he needs our help.

Thank you from Daniel Kaye, Sydney, Australia
February 15, 2014 11:42 pm

Dear readers, I am speechless with wonder, amazement and appreciation! What seemed to be an insurmountable task is almost fully completed! I am so humbled by the amazing outpouring of love, encouragement and kind comments of wonderful sweet people coupled with concrete actions, heart-warming is too poor an adjective to describe my thanks to each and everyone of you who have attempted in assisting us reach our goal, whether by donation large and small or even by simply furthering the link via e-mail, facebook or other manner of modern technology communication. I wish to take this opportunity to thank Hashem… Read more »

February 14, 2014 11:06 am

If we could only imagine the Nachas this is giving to the Rebbe

I just gave $18… wish I could give more. TO #18- every bit helps , the small amounts all add up so don’t discourage people from getting involved at whatever level they feel comfortable with

February 14, 2014 10:17 am

$5 and $10 does work. It is a huge mitzvah.

To 18
February 14, 2014 10:15 am

Please do not discourage people who can only give small amounts ( as I who gave $18) by saying it won’t help because if every person who reads this gives just $10 it will surely add up as every little helps!

give even when it hearts.....
February 14, 2014 9:27 am

We gave 200.00

a great segula for Shiduchim

And especially in the month of Adar is a great time for more Charity. (the month of Machatzis HaShekel.

BTW: just my opinion: if u can give real money…(ie: 100/200/500) as $5 and $10 will not do….

Donations of air miles are greatly appreciate
February 14, 2014 12:39 am

We could also use miles
If you can donate mileage with American Airlines, United or Quintas that would be a tremendous help.
A ticket with A requires 90,000 miles, United is 110,000 and Quintas requires 128,000
Even if you don’t have the full amount for a ticket, your miles can be combined with those of others.
We can also accept mileage from other carriers and do an exchange.
Please contact Rabbi Avtzon at [email protected]
Thank you

February 13, 2014 11:30 pm

Just sharing to encourage everyone to give any amount you can!

what is the answer
February 13, 2014 11:13 pm

B”H people are making weddings, but there must be 100’s of parents over the world worried how to pay for their children’s weddings.
It is difficult enough when the Choson and Kalloh live in the same town , but when one makes a shiduch from afar much more expenses is involved. There must be answer how to help our fellow Jew any one got any ideas. We should only have Simchos.
