In the program Rabbi Butman says that it was filmed Thursday Parshas Chaye Soro, Chof Cheshvan
It was nice to hear a story that involves the Special Yid R’Gershon Chanovitch. He was one of the last of the Shanghai bochurim and transplanted our roots from Der alter heim to America. He had been at the Seder of the Freirdiker Rebbe and used to repeat the stories as if they had just happened.

This video was obviously not filmed this weekend in Hebron. There were thousands of people in Hebron for Shabbos Chayei Sara….
But it was a special idea and very touching on Rabbi Butman’s part to film the segment for this Motzai Shabbos in Hebron.
How inspiring that Rabbi Butman gave the shiur about Ma’aras Hamachpeila right there at the place! May we indeed have shleimus haAretz and shleimus haAm with the geuloh ha’amitis vehashleimah right now!
