Property Firm's Holy Opening
A commercial property management company in Maryland inaugurated its new offices with Shluchim and a Tanya printing. About 100 people, shluchim, anash and balebatim, joined in the 24 Teves farbrengen in Owings Mills, a suburb of Baltimore in Maryland.
It was hosted by BECO Management, a commercial property management company in Maryland and Virginia, as a chanukas habayis in honor of the opening of their new corporate campus in the heart of the Owings Mills business district.
BECO Management is run by known bal chesed R' Yakov Cohen and his son Levi Cohen.
Chabad of Owings Mills, led by Rabbi Nochum Katsenelenbogen (AKA Rabbi K.), arranged the highlight of the event which was the printing of the Owings Mills Tanya (edition 6119), and everyone stayed afterwards to join a seudas mitzvah and farbrengen.
Many divrei Torah were said and nigunim were sung, and it was a truly inspiring event for all attending. Many of those who attended left uplifted and inspired to commit to learning Tanya more often.
In the words on one participant, "it was very meaningful for my wife and I... It is truly unbelievable to see what the Alter Rebbe started and what he was able to spread throughout the world. Mazal tov on an amazing successful event."
Perek 32 of Tanya was taught by the Head Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan, who explained the greatness of learning Tanya, and sat on to farbreng for a while afterwards.
