Kids Hear About Rebbe's Recovery

Boys from the Bais Shmuel Junior Minyan gathered for a Melava Malka where they heard about Rosh Chodesh Kislev from Chanan Feldman.

The Bais Shmuel Junior Minyan capped the first month of this year's activities with a Melava Malka this past Motzei Shabbos at the Lang residence.

"The kids really deserved this treat," said Danny Illulian, one of the program's directors. "They have been doing a great job Davening and following along during the Torah reading each Shabbos," he said.

The Melava Malka featured a story as well as a special firsthand account of the events of Rosh Chodesh Kislev and the Rebbe's return to 770 after suffering from a heart attack from Chanan Feldman.

In addition, Rabbi Farro of England was gracious enough to attend, and shared a personal story with the children.

Besides for all the special guests, the kids enjoyed hot pizza and ice cream, along with a special game and raffle.

"I had a great time, and I'm sure it will only get better," remarked one young participant.
