This Chol Hamoed Sukkos, many members of Anash and their families joined the New York City Mivtza Lulav campaign, reaching out to thousands of Yiddin in senior centers, nursing homes, and hospitals throughout the City.
The families visited locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.
“B”H, this Sukkos a large number of families have been added to the Mivtzoim list, and many more new locations have been visited,” said Tzali Laufer of the Tzach Mivtzoim Office.
“The Senior Centers and Nursing Homes all showed a great appreciation for the visits.”
Rabbi Kasriel Kastel, Program Director, Lubavitch Youth Organization, mentions how the Rebbe would many times stress and show great interest that Anash should join in the many Mivtzoim.
“This was the best Chol Hamoed trip we had. We all enjoyed, and it really added a positive feeling to us all, knowing that we set aside time for doing the Rebbe’s Mivtzoim,” said one of the parents.
A special thank you to Rabbi Menachem Gerlitzky, director of Kollel Tiferes Zkeinim Levi Yitzchok, for his assistance in making many of the arrangements.
